Division: Global Finance Initiatives Community Training Programs

General Description of Intern Duties – The Community Training Intern is responsible for delivering Community training via an online learning platform. The Community Training Intern is also responsible for creating a high performance environment by adhering to the disciplines outlined below. He/she must be able to work in a multi-tasking, independent environment to deliver measurable and quantitative results. The Community Training Intern represents Sutherland professionally in all interactions and delivers desired results in the highest quality manner with a strong attention to detail.

Specific Job Responsibilities:
• Participate in external promotion of Community Training Programs.
• Actively work with Project Management on marketing of e-learning.
• Deliver on-going Community Training in a creative professional manner
• Maintain regular schedule of pre-employment training.
• Refine and implement training materials and programs.
• Conduct pre- and post-training assessments of skills, behavior and knowledge.
• Isolate specific skills that require further practice and implement accordingly.
• Work closely with Project Manager to determine training needs of candidates and ensure content delivery is consistent with needs.


Required Skills:
• Ability to understand students needs.
• Ability to take articulate complex topics in an easily understandable format.
• Strong presentation skills.
• Demonstrable excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• PC/Microsoft Office/Outlook skills.
• Strong leadership, motivational and development/mentoring skills

Preferred Skills/Education:
• Minimum 1 year of post secondary education
• Excellent Microsoft office Skills
• Demonstrated ability to take initiative, multi-task, and prioritize.
• Strong time management skills.
• Curriculum development experience.
• Knowledge of customer service practices

This is an on call position with hours scheduled as required.
Hourly rate is $14 per hour.
