Tech Start-up Receives Funding and Looks to Hire Five Local Developers

Founder Aims to Repeat Success of Previous Venture

February 19, 2008 – There is a new addition to the IT business community in Sault Ste. Marie, and they’re hoping to find five local developers to help grow their business. SoloID Inc. is a new new software company headquartered in the North and are looking to hire five qualified software programmers.

“We need five developers who are skilled with writing ASP.NET in C#, VB.NET or Java, and have a passion and interest in programming to make the project successful – and maybe change their lives in the process” says co-founder Steve Hulaj.

These programmers would be instrumental in helping build the company. Ideally, SoloID is looking for individuals with basic programming skills who want to learn how to build large scale applications that would help SoloID’s customers simplify their lives.

When asked how he got started as an entrepreneur, co-founder Steve Hulaj said, “my first company started in my basement and grew to have customers in over 45 countries. It grew to have offices in Europe and eventually was publicly traded.” Having retired years ago, Hulaj, a young 43-year-old decided it was time for another new adventure. Since he loves Northern Ontario, he decided to establish an office in the North and hire talent from Sault Ste. Marie to help build his company and the IT community.
